Trying to find out if Ab Belts really work or not is not an easy task. Most of the websites you find have nothing but great things to say about them. Sure there are few that present he pros and cons, for example this review is thorough, however the majority of sites I found just praise them.
So do they actually work?
The answer is yes, but you must also take into consideration what it is you’re trying to get it to do.
There are a lot of people who think that ab belts are capable of thinning out their mid-section and flattening their stomachs. This isn’t true. Ab belts cannot burn belly fat so you’re not going to get any thinner from using one.
What the belt will do however is strengthen and firm your abs. This will happen whether you decide to try and lose a few pounds or not. So in that way the belts do work, but it’s the expectations at the on set that I feel people get confused and mixed up on.
If you’re expectations for what the belt can actually do are realistic then yes ab belts do work. If you feel they should be a weight loss device to make you thin, then unfortunately they aren’t going to do a darn thing for you.
